The biggest challenge when designing for healthy snacking is to ensure that excitement and flavour are communicated, alongside health credentials.
For Brown Rice Chips, we amped up the taste cues with bright colours and insta-worthy spilled and scattered ingredients. Bespoke hand lettering and a textured background lend artisan and health cues, while touches of gold highlight the quality of the product.
Whilst Rice Cracker chips needed to sit firmly in the snacking arena where playfulness is king, we carefully balanced ingredient cameos with a light and airy feel to create a health-aware vibe.
Our redesign of Rice Cakes speaks to the product’s versatility. The colourful tetris pattern represents the multitude of ways this product can be topped and shifts the product into its new era.
And finally, Rice Puffs; a design for the Middle East features flavoursome cameo photography, colliding with the product, to evoke a sense of energy and excitement. Typography and raw rice imagery then work hard to commmunicate health.
